The movie marked Kim Go Eun’s return to the big screen after the success of Goblin. In it she plays Sun-mi whose first love is the protagonist rapper, Hak-soo. They meet each other again when Hak-soo is forced to go home to visit his sick father.  For the role, KGE not only decided to gain weight but she also practiced the Jeolla dialect with a dialect coach to add a more authentic feel to Sun-mi.
